Our Services

Everything needed to get a radio product approved by the Nepal Telecommunications Authority and keep the approval valid.

Local representation and NTA liaison

NTA accepts applications only from a company registered in Nepal. We act as your authorised representative under your letter of authorisation and handle all liaison with the authority.

  • Registered Nepali company holding your authorisation
  • All correspondence with NTA handled in Nepali and English
  • One named contact for every project

Provisional type approval Certificate

We prepare the application, file it through NTA’s online system, pay the government fees and answer NTA’s questions until the provisional certificate is issued.

  • Application forms prepared from your technical file
  • Government fees paid locally on your behalf
  • Certificate shared as soon as NTA issues it

Permanent approval and renewals

The provisional certificate lasts six months. We track the expiry date, collect the import and sales evidence NTA asks for, and apply for the periodic permanent certificate in time.

  • Expiry dates tracked for every certificate
  • Reminders well before each deadline
  • Renewal of expired or soon-to-expire approvals

Document pre-check

Before anything goes to NTA we compare your test reports, declaration of conformity, photos and manuals against the requirements, and against each other, so mismatched model names or missing reports are fixed early.

  • Gap list sent before the application is filed
  • Model, brand and frequency details cross-checked
  • Advice on which existing FCC, CE or RED reports to reuse

Scope and exemption advice

Not every radio product needs a full approval, and some frequency bands are not permitted in Nepal at all. We tell you which route applies to your product before you spend money on it.

  • Short-range and low-power device assessment
  • Frequency band check against Nepal’s allocations
  • Clear answer on whether approval is needed

Cellular devices and MDMS

Phones and other devices with a cellular radio must have their IMEI numbers registered in NTA’s Mobile Device Management System before import. We guide you and your importer through how this fits with type approval.

  • GSMA TAC letter included in the application
  • Coordination with your Nepali importer
  • Import figures kept consistent for renewal

Track every application online

Each client gets access to our portal, where you can see the status of every model, download certificates and check upcoming expiry dates without sending an email.
