As per the provision of Clause (f) of Section 13 and Section 14
of the “Telecommunications Act (1997)” the Authority determines and/or approves the standard and quality standard of the plant and equipment relating to telecommunications and the telecommunications service. Prior to the import and/or sale of any type of radio telecommunication CPEs in Nepal., the concerned manufacturers/authorized agents/representatives have to get a type approval certificate under the provision of the type approval procedure defined by the Nepal Telecommunications Authority.
